About

Interviews, essays, & leadership are the cornerstones to any medical school application. This program aims to hone your discussion & critical thinking skills & awe any admissions team. We offer monthly 1-2 hour Zoom sessions led by a BS/MD/MBA student to learn about leadership in healthcare through Health Policy & Health Literacy engagement. This course is designed to help students explore their interests in healthcare and answer common questions such as “how does health insurance work?” “what health policy model does U.S. have and what are the pros and cons?” “how is U.S. healthcare system different from Canadian or Korean healthcare system?” etc… all while developing critical thought & analysis. Healthcare problems and potential solutions are common interview questions & personal statement prompts. Discussion topics also include the business aspect of healthcare for students interested in biomedical technologies and engineering, MD/MBA degrees, hospital administration, pharmaceutical companies, telemedicine, medical consulting & much more.
